TruthStudio

TruthStudio are a UK-based design and brand consultancy who offer a fresh and innovative approach. They create the freedom to experiment, take creative risks and explore unconventional design approaches.

Brief

Having worked alongside TruthStudio on both Kada and Fitzrovia Noir projects previously, we were the obvious first choice for them to develop their new website.

The current TruthStudio website was clunky and hadn’t been updated in some time and the the designers came to a decision that an altogether new approach would be better suited to their evolving portfolio and client-base. We were appointed as the development team to help support and launch that vision, paying particularly close attention to formulaic design principles such as the typography, spacing and image structure.

Mobile Approach

Although we received desktop designs from TruthStudio, it was crucial to effectively translate these into a mobile-first approach. We anticipated that many of TruthStudio's clients would be accessing their portfolio and case studies via mobile devices. This foresight led us to create a streamlined, uncluttered mobile layout that offers a straightforward user experience without compromising the quality of the displayed design work.

Consistency

The key to the success of this newly launched website lies in its unwavering commitment to a consistent layout, regardless of the content type being displayed. Whether it's copy, vivid images, or dynamic videos, the design remains uniform in its presentation, offering users a seamless and intuitive browsing experience. This cohesive approach not only enhances the visual appeal of the website but also boosts its usability, making it easier for visitors to navigate and locate the information or media they are interested in. Overall, this consistency serves as the backbone that reinforces TruthStudios design practice.
